Maer Lake: very quiet at the moment, 13 Moorhen, 4 Shellduck (2 with 3 duckling still), 2 Teal, 18 Mallard (1pair with 2nd brood of 5), 2 Herring Gull, 100+Sand-Martin (hawking over lake), 50+ swallow, 2 Swift, no House Martin, Whitethroat sing in nearby bushes. (N Bastin)

Truro, private garden: 1 Siskin visiting bird feeder (first sighting here in 2 years). (F Afshar)

Lanner: 10 Goldfinch, 8 Greenfinch, 4 Chaffinch, 2 Bullfinch (m&f), 2 Siskin (m&f), 4 Dunnock, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 2 Great Tit, 1 Blue Tit, 1 Robin, 3 Blackbird, 40+ Starling with juveniles. (J Marshall)
