Walmsley Reserve access update: The bridge at Trewornan which is the link between parking and accessing Walmsley was hit by a lorry yesterday morning causing serious damage and the road is now closed. Bosporthennis Common: Male Montagu’s Harrier still (D Eva, D Flumm), 1 Red Kite, 1 Grasshopper Warbler (D Eva)

St Ives Harbour: 1 Red Kite at 10:39 being mobbed by corvids, 7 Swift, 10:30 – 10:40 (P Nason)

Loggans: 1 Red Kite (D Eva)

Drift Reservoir: 14 Swift. (D Flumm)

Marazion Marsh: Drake Garganey (A McKechnie, S Cox)

Porthleven: 6 Swift this evening. Summer can commence (B Nicholls)

Late Submission, 14/05, Black Head, Coverack: Small numbers of Manx Shearwater passing west towards Bass Point. On the cliffs good numbers of butterflies with c20 Small Pearl Bordered Fritillary, 2 Green Hairstreak, 2 Common Blue, 1 Red Admiral, 1 Painted Lady as well as a single Hummingbird Hawkmoth (P Bedford)
