Late submission, 16/08/26, Hayle Estuary; Ryan’s Field: approx 20:00, tide already quite high. Lots of Curlew, Redshank, Oystercatcher & Black-headed Gull. 1 Whimbrel, actively feeding and quite mobile whilst most of the Curlew were sleeping, 2 Knot, 1 mainly in breeding plumage, 7 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Little Egret.
