Hayle Estuary: 1w Bonaparte’s Gull from Hayle Causeway at 15.39 until at least late evening. (P St Pierre et al). Note – Bonaparte’s Gull reported concurrently at Marazion. Also 1 Common Sandpiper, 12 Ringed Plover, 2 Dunlin, 4 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 5 Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Whimbrel, 2 Mediterranean Gull. (R Veal) Also 1 Goosander. The Rumps/Pentire today: 4 Puffin, continuous stream of Manx Shearwaters heading west for the 90 minutes. 1 Kestrel, 2 singing Whitethroat, 5+ Wheatear, Grey Seal. (W Delacour)

College Reservoir: 8 Cattle Egret, roosting in tree with 1 Grey Heron, 10+ Canada Goose, 1 Mute Swan, 10+ Coot, 1 Moorhen, 1 Mallard (m),1 Tufted Duck (m), 6 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Cormorant, 30+ Swallow, 10+ Herring Gull. (T Chambers)

Porthbean Beach: 16 Whimbrel landed on the beach as rain started this evening, flew off again shortly afterwards. Later, 25 Whimbrel. (S Gibson)

Penryn Estuary, 07:15-08:30: 29 Herring Gull, 3 Great Black-backed Gull, 7 Mute Swan, 4 Greenshank, Redshank, 2 Whimbrel, Cormorant, Mallard M, 5 Chiffchaff, Blackcap, 3 Goldcrest, 4 Raven (2 fledged) and 2 Swallow. (T Weston)

Swanpool: 19+ Coot (at least 2 colour ringed birds ring-read – please report any sightings via the species pages on the Waterbird colour-marking group website), 2 Mute Swan, 5 Mallard, 5 Moorhen, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Little Grebe and 50+ Herring Gull. (C Foote & T Weston)

Castle Beach: Oysyercatcher on rocks and a flock of 20 Whimbrel in off the sea and landed to feed this afternoon. (C Foote & T Weston)

Pendennis Head: Dunnock, Wren, 2 Linnet, Oystercatcher, 14+ Herring Gull, 10+ Gannet, Rock Pipit, 3 Sandwich Tern, 2 summer plumage Great Northern Diver, 111+ Manx Shearwater W and 72 Auks past W. 3 Swallow in off and N, 6 Whimbrel in off before flying high up Carrick Roads, single Curlew high in off and up Carrick Roads and 2 Rook/Carrion Crow high in off towards Castle Beach.
