Hayle, Copperhouse Creek – 1-3pm: adult Bonaparte’s Gull at 2.30pm. Towards eastern end of creek. Flew in and preened energetically for 20 minutes before flying off North-East. Subsequently relocated back at Copperhouse. Also at Copperhouse – male Garganey feeding with Wigeon, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, 5 Greenshank, 25 Teal, 50+ Wigeon, 1 Mediterranean Gull, 17 Black-headed Gull, 2 Goosander. (A Lobb)

Hayle Estuary – 12-1pm: adult Iceland Gull, 1 Argentatus Herring Gull, at least 3 Yellow-legged Gull, 2 Mediterranean Gull, 130 Golden Plover circling high overhead before heading North. (A Lobb)

Porth Reservoir: 7 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Grebe, 3 Goldcrest, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Coal Tit, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, flock Long-tailed Tit, Hairy Shield Bug. (M James)
