Pendeen, 6.45am – 1.30pm, Bottom Carpark: 1 ad Sooty Tern, 90+ Cory’s Shearwater, 2 Wilson’s Petrel, 20+ Storm Petrel, 1 Arctic Skua.  Feeding frenzy just outside of rocks all morning with Tuna, Common Dolphin & Harbour Porpoise, all drifting east. Sooty Tern at 07.10, feeding offshore and lost beyond rocks heading E. 109 Cory’s Shearwater, 4 Sooty Shearwater, Wilson’s Petrel (09.30), c50 Storm Petrel, 2 Arctic Skua. (Birdguides) Porthgwarra, 14.45-17.00: 1 Sabine’s Gull (found by Simon Roberts, probably 1st summer, lingering over feeding frenzy), 5 Long-tailed Skua (all together, probably all 2nd summer, two pale birds with almost completely white heads, three dark birds with pale belly patches), 33 Cory’s Shearwaters passed west plus 2 lingering over feeding frenzy), 1 Pomarine Skua (1st summer), 3 Arctic Skua, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 5 Storm Petrel, 2 Puffin).
