St Mawgan Village and Woods: 25 Wren, 18 Rook, 9 Chaffinch, 11 House Sparrow, 13 Blue Tit, 7 Goldfinch, 5 Dunnock, 21 Woodpigeon, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 16 Blackbird, 11 Carrion Crow, 1 Stonechat, 5 Great Tit, 4 Robin, 3 Herring Gull, 3 Buzzard, 6 Chiffchaff, 9 Jackdaw, 3 Goldcrest, 1 Greenfinch, 3 Blackcap, 6 Song Thrush, 1 Jay, 2 Magpie, 1 Coal Tit, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 2 Tree Creeper, 1 Stock Dove, 2 House Martin, 4 Swallow (C & G Horsley)

Carethillian: 2 Sedge Warblers (R Nicholls)

Zoar, St.Keverne: 4 Red Kite, 2 Buzzard over silage mowing. (S.Wood)

Downderry: 5 Common Scoter, 3 Great Northern Diver, 38 Gannet and an Arctic Skua flew west before 07:45. Also at least 55 Manx Shearwater and 3 Mediterranean Gull (1st s) east.  (A Payne)

Daymer Bay: 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Wren, 2 Robin, 2 Goldfinch, 1 Dunnock, 8 Jackdaw. (J Drummond)

Spit Beach: 5 Common Scoter. (P Davies)

Spit Beach: Eider in the main group now up to 9, (7m 2f). Still no contact between them and the lone female + duckling, despite being only 400m apart on flat sea. No sign of threat from gulls, with the young one remaining close to the female. Seen well away from the shore around 9am today. (R Hampshire)

Stithians Lake: 7 singing male Blackcap along Southern and Eastern side of Lake. (A Lea)

Hayle Causeway: 1pr Shelduck with 3 remaining ducklings, 16 Canada Goose. (M Webb)

Ryan’s Field: 2 Oystercatcher (female still sitting on eggs), 3 (2m 1f) Shelduck, 6 Canada Goose (2prs with 13 goslings), 3 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Black-headed Gull, 2 Greenfinch. (14.45 – 15.30 M Webb)

Kynance Farm: 1 Hoopoe in valley above Kynance Cove briefly. (L Stoppard)

Whipsiderry: 3 Corn Bunting, 3 Raven, 6 Rock Pipit, 4 Stonechat, 12 Fulmar, 13 Herring Gull nests, 7 Oystercatcher, 1 Kestrel. (S Grose)
