Wheal Busy: 1 Cuckoo heard, 4 pairs Linnets, 2 pairs Bullfinches, 2 Willow Warblers singing, 6 Chiffchaffs, 2 Blackcaps, a pair of Blue Tits – one with a very obvious brood patch, numerous Wrens.  many adela cuprella moths flying around the tops of the sallows. (K Dalziel)

Helston Boating Lake: 15+ Tufted Duck, 1 nesting pr Mute Swan, 1m Ferruginous Duck escapee that arrived in June 2018, 20+ Coot including 4 nesting pairs, 18 Canada Goose, 20+ Mallard, 1 Muscovy Duck 15.00 – 15.45. (M Webb)
