Marazion Beach: 1m Kentish Plover flew over marsh onto beach with 4 Ringed Plover at 0820 joining larger flock of waders. Totals: 55 Sanderling, 25 Ringed Plover, 40 Dunlin, 1 Whimbrel, group 13 s/p Turnstone flying high W, 1 Sand Martin hunting insects low over beach, 6 Swift. (J Hawkey)  (17.00 – 1830hrs) male Kentish Plover reappeared briefly at 17.40 and joined the flock of 96 Sanderling, 2 Ringed Plover, 1 Whimbrel and 12 Dunlin. Constantly mobile through walkers and dogs.12 Sand Martin quartering the marsh & beach. Their continual presence suggests a new nearby colony. (J Hawkey)
