Lizard, Kennack Sands: 1 Pallas’s Warbler and 1 Yellow-browed Warbler just south of clearing.

Penzance: 1 Sabine’s Gull reported on rocks off Jubilee Pool. (RBA)

Porthgwarra (07.45 – 12.45): 597 Great Shearwater, 1 Cory’s Shearwater, 16 Sooty Shearwater and 31 Manx Shearwater, 1 Pomarine Skua, 8 Arctic Skua, 1 Arctic Tern, 1 Great Skua. Falmouth, Pennance Point: 5 Great Shearwater and 1 Great Northern Diver. (RBA)

Lizard Point: 6 Great Shearwater, 1 Leach’s Petrel and 1 Balearic Shearwater. (RBA)

Newlyn: 1 Leach’s Petrel close in at Sandy Bay flew towards Mousehole. Also, 1 Black-throated Diver, 3 Common Scoter and 1 m Eider. (L Proctor)

Fenton Pitts (private garden) am: 1 female/immature Black Redstart sheltering in outbuildings from the weather and the harassing resident Robins, 4/5 Fieldfare, 6 Blackbirds and 2 Roe Deer feeding on apple windfall, 3 Pied Wagtail catching insects on cottage roof (M Boldy)

Gwennap Church and Trevince Manor: c150 Redwing & c100 Fieldfares with 5 Mistle Thrushes very active in/around churchyard most of day, attracting 2 Sparrowhawk (f & m).  Also, 2 Ravens display flight at 11.00. (L Cox)

Kingsmill Lake:  3 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 3 Little Egret, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 8 Herring Gull, 93 Black-headed Gull, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 4 Mallard, 90 Wigeon, 58 Teal, 19 Shelduck, Canada Geese, 21 Curlew, 54 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 17 Greenshank, 69 Redshank, 1 Spotted Redshank, 36 Dunlin, 3 Lapwing, 12+ Long-tailed Tit. Walmsley Sanctuary (Tower Hide 1630-1810): 200 Teal, 5 Shoveler, Water Rail, 17 Snipe, Green Sandpiper, Ruff (flew in with godwits), 18 Black-tailed Godwit, 450 Fieldfare (200 off N, 250 off S), 50 Redwing. (G Stephenson).
