St Ives Island: (08:15-09:15) 1 Grey Heron, 5 Common Scoter, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 2 Great Northern Diver, 1 Little Egret, 5 Mediterranean Gull. Also, this afternoon distant probable Pomarine Skua adult dark phase and an Arctic Skua adult pale phase in bay. (G Jones)

Stithians Reservoir: 2 Spotted flycatcher, Mixed flock of 30+ Ringed plover and Dunlin (inc. one colour ringed plover from Norway), Black-tailed Godwit, Bar-tailed Godwit, Curlew Sandpiper, 18 Curlew, Common Sandpiper, 5+ Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler. Point Quay, Devoran: 3 Osprey at 18:20. One sitting on marker post on the ballast bank, one in a tree on the South Bank and another sitting in shallow water mid Channel then actively fishing. (M Wilson)

Newquay Harbour/Bay: 1 Eider (drake nearly in full bp), 9 Turnstone, 1 Sparrowhawk, 3 Oystercatcher. Sadly 6* dead Gannet in the water in the Bay. (R Hurrell)

Gannel Estuary, Newquay: 1 Little Stint still with 15 Dunlin from car park at 09:00. (M Lammas & J Pasco)

Walmsley Sanctuary: 1 Hobby (immature), 7 Cattle Egret, 1 Kestrel, 1 Spotted Redshank. (J St Ledger & G Fisher)

Cargreen: 1 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 3 Little Egret, 2 Avocet, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 7 Curlew, 2 Oystercatcher. Also, 1 Road casualty Polecat just outside of Merrymeet village. (A previous road casualty of the same species was noted 200 yards along the road some 4 years ago) (M & R Frost)
