Access is permitted again tomorrow as long as visitors follow these instructions: Please do not turn up on site before 09:00. When entering Lethytep, follow sign and park in the first field on the right. Then follow the mown path down to fence line to view ponds. If the gate is locked, members can call Philip on 01503 220385.

Access is permitted in return for generous cash donations to Cancer Research UK, which will be made on site. Goonhilly Downs: 1 Cuckoo calling in dead tree below Croft Pascoe, 2 others heard. Also, several Skylarks, Willow Warblers,  Chiffchaffs and 1 pair Stonechat. (ND & S Chandler)

Gwithian Green LNR: 1 Turtle Dove early am before flew far North, 5 Sedge Warbler, 2 Whitethroat, 1 Stock Dove. (R Veal)

St Gothian Sands: drk Common Scoter still, 2 Dunlin. (R Veal)

Stithians Reservoir: 2 Cuckoo, 1 Sparrowhawk high up, 1+ Whitethroat, 1 Willow Warbler. Feeder hide, 1 Blackcap. (R Griffiths)

Helford: 6 Robin, 2 Chaffinch (m,f), 6 Swallow, 2 Buzzard, 2 Blue Tit, 1 Raven, 1 Nuthatch, 1+ Woodpigeon and 1+ Carrion Crow. (T Chambers)

Point: 1 Great White Egret south at 1250, 6 Whimbrel, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 11 Little Egrets in heronry. (D Eva)

Malpas, Truro: 3 House Martins feeding above river, 1 pr Kestrels nesting on far side. Plus 1m and 1f Siskin, 2 Coal tits on our feeder and 1 Song Thrush feeding regularly on spilled seed below. (A Hill)
