Hayle Ryan’s Field RSPB: 2 m&f Teal, 6 Shelduck, 6 Canada Goose, 5 Whimbrel, 1 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 3 Little Egret, 9 Black-headed Gull early evening. (M Webb)

Falmouth: Grasshopper Warbler reeling in scrub in grounds of Watson Marlow (No unauthorised access), Bickland Water Road at 3:10pm (G Wills)

St Agnes Beacon:Large mixed flocks of swallows and martins flying high eastwards over St Agnes Beacon at lunchtime. Also 1 Raven, 1 Kestrel, and several Stonechats, and Sparrows. (R Smith)

Nanjizal: 2 Garden Warbler, 1 Reed Warbler, 4 Sedge Warbler, 6 Chiffchaff, 7 Blackcap, 4 Willow Warbler trapped and ringed. Also 1 Hobby, 2 Red Kite, 1+ Yellow Wagtail, c70 House Martin, c40 Swallow, 3 Sand Martin, 2 Siskin, 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Snipe, imm Glaucous Gull over. Trehill to Forder – Rame Barton: Hoopoe seen on the public footpath from Trehill to Forder at around 12:15. Also a steady stream of Swallows and House Martins flying in through Rame Head. (C&J Hannaford)

St Clement: 1 singing Stock Dove, 1 Green Woodpcker, 1 adult Long-tailed Tit dead on nest with 7 dead chicks ( presumed starvation due to drought), Blackbird feeding 3 chicks at nest ( D Eva )

Kynance Cove: 1 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Tree Pipit both over calling at c. 9:15am. (I Maclean)
