Walmsley Sanctuary (members only): 1 pair Sedge Warbler feeding young, 1 Reed Warbler, 2 Stonechat, 1 Skylark, 1 Swift, 8+ Swallow, 50+ Mallard, 1 Moorhen, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard, 1 Jay, 2 Mute Swan with 6 cygnets. (J St Ledger, A Lea)
Swanpool 10.30 – 11.30: 6 Woodpigeon, 2m Blackbird, 1 Blue Tit, 5 (2ad, 1juv, 2chicks) Moorhen, 10 Coot with 2pr with 4 & 3 chicks, 1pr Mute Swan female appeared to be on a nest, 1pr Mallard with 7 ducklings, 1 Cormorant. (M Webb)
Kingsmill Lake: 1 adult Mediterranean Gull, 140+ Black-headed Gull, 40+ Herring Gull, 2 adult Greater Black-backed Gull, 2 Oystercatcher, 13 Curlew, 17 adult Redshank, 9 Shelduck, 6 Little Egret, 2 Grey Heron & 3 Cormorant. (P Kemp)
Porth Reservoir: 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Grey Heron, 4 Kingfisher, 12 Great crested Grebe on the water in pairs,1pr with 3 juv and 1pr with 2 juv, 1 Mute Swan, 49 Mallard, 3prs Coot with 6, 2, & 1juv, 3 Great spotted Woodpecker, 7 Chiffchaff, 3 Blackcap, 2 Jay. (S Grose)
