Marazion beach: 1 1st sum male Surf Scoter, 2 Great Northern Diver, 11 Sandwich Tern, (S Rogers, T McGowan, R Humphries).  Also, 6 Red Kite over marsh and Hobby in the valley. (P St Pierre).  In addition, pm 1 Surf Scoter (1st summer male), 2 Whimbrel, 1 Curlew, 1 Muscovy Duck. (N R Rogers)

Mullion: 2 Black Kite south of Meavor Road in field following plough. (RBA).  Also, 6 Red Kite at 3pm. (I Houghton)

Falmouth: 1 Black Kite over town at 11.50 (J Drage Hubert).  Same Black Kite over Penryn with 4 Red Kite at 12.30. (M Broadbent).  Also, 107 Red Kite flew NE over Falmouth between 12:50 and 17:50. (M Broadbent, L Parkerson, L Stoppard)

Crows an wra: 1 Black Kite and 3 Red Kite. (C Moore)

St Just8 Red Kite plus 1 possible Black Kite 1500hrs. (S Constant)

Downderry: 7 Great Northern Diver early morning. (A Payne)

Downderry: 25+ Red Kite over between 09.30 and 10.30. (M Elliot)

Bonython, Lizard: 20+ Red Kite following a tractor ploughing a field. The kite dispersed following the arrival of 200+ gull & 100+ rook. (A Lea)

Truro, Sunny Corner: 1 Red Kite, 4 Whimbrel. (T Wilson)

Truro: 3 Red Kite flew SW 13.00 – 13.20 and 2 Red Kite NE 16.00 – 16.50. (T Wilson)

Illogan highway: 2 Red Kite. (D Hawker)

Gweek3 Red Kite flying towards the lizard, . (F Williams)

St Ives: 1 Red Kite flew S over the town at 07:45, also, steady stream of Manx Shearwaters & Kittiwakes past the Island. (A Whitehouse)

Tresemple Pool: 1 Red Kite. (M James)

Dobwalls: 1 Red Kite. (C&J Duffy)

Hayle: 1 Red Kite. (L McGregor).  Also, 12+ Red Kite drifting north 1720hrs. (S Constant)

Crowlas: 11 Red Kite drifting north 1715hrs and 8 Swift. (S Constant)

Mylor Bridge (private garden)1 Red Kite over, mobbed by a crow.  Also, male Blackbird feeding fledgling with a slow worm. (D Charnaud)

St Ives Island early am: 4 Red Kite heading north out to sea at 7:30am.  Around 5,000 Manx Shearwater west including a feeding flock of over 1000 birds offshore and 6 Common Scoter west. (A Lobb)

Clodgy Point to Buttermilk Hill: 2 Red Kite heading east. One particularly low heading towards St Ives town. At least 1 Cuckoo calling. (A Lobb)

Trerulefoot: 1 Red Kite east at 14.30. (A Payne)

St Enodoc Golf course: 1 Red Kite, 1 m Kestrel ( carrying prey item), 1 Song Thrush. (S Grose)

Bugle, Kerrow Moor: 2 Cuckoo. (S Grose)

St. Andrews Pool:  1 Osprey over at 13.13pm, 1pr Mute Swan with 3 cygnets, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Great spotted Woodpecker. (S Grose)

Par Beach Pool: 1 pr Mute Swan with 7 cygnets, 3 Reed Warbler, 1 Black-headed Gull, 1 Little Grebe. (S Grose)

Par, Spit beach: c.15 Oystercatcher, 10 Turnstone, 8 Dunlin, 4 Great Northern Diver, 5 Eider. (R Hampshire)

Porth Reservoir: 4 Raven over, 3 Great Crested Grebe nests built on the water’s edge have  been destroyed, possibly by Wells Catfish again. A further 2 predated eggs found  on the main footpath. (S Grose)

Newquay: 1 f Sparrowhawk over Texaco garage. (S Grose)

Porthgwarra: 1 Cuckoo, 20+ Linnet. (J Noon)

Devichoys Wood: 2 Spotted Flycatcher. (P McVey)

Seaton: Reed Warbler, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Goldcrest, Song Thrush, Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Jay, Raven.  Also Speckled Wood, Painted Lady, Holly Blue, Red Admiral, Orange Tip, Green veined White and Beautiful Demoiselle. (A Payne)

Late submission, 20/5, Nanquidno: 238 Red Kites flew south between 8:30-10am, also 2 Whimbrel, 1 Shelduck, 1 Minke Whale and 2 Risso’s Dolphin. (J Drage Hubert, A Tomlin)
