Nanjizal: male Black-headed Wagtail trapped and ringed, then flew into maize field toward Higher Bosisto. (K Wilson)

Porthgwarra: 64 Willow Warbler, 1 Clouded Yellow. (M Wallace)

Pendeen (lower slope 0650-1000): 1 Balearic Shearwater, c11,000 Manx Shearwater (based on random counts up to 90/min), 28 Fulmar, 57 Shag, Turnstone, 6 Oystercatcher, 2 Sanderling, Med Gull, ad Arctic Skua. (D Flumm). Also, 1 Great Shearwater, 1 Cory’s Shearwater and 1 Sooty Shearwater. all distant between 07.30 – 09.30. (L Proctor)

Croft Pascoe (plantation): Mixed flocks of finches of Siskin and Goldfinch moving together through the canopies; 4 Spotted Flycatcher, 2 adult feeding 2 fledged juveniles on exposed young sprigs of willow; 2 Goldcrest, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker calling, 1 Coal Tit calling, 3 Willow Warbler (singing heard), 1 Swift over, 1 possible Red-rumped Swallow over, 1 possible Pied Flycatcher singing, brief and approx 50 metres away. Marazion Marsh RSPB: 3(1ad 2juv) Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1m Stonechat, 6 Goldfinch 09.45 – 10.45. (M Webb)

Drift Reservoir: 2 Green Sandpiper, 1 Great Crested Grebe (feeding one juvenile), 1 Grey Wagtail. (R Bowyer, D Parker, J St Ledger)

Hayle, Carnsew Pool: 7 Common Sandpiper, 4 Ringed Plover, 3 (1 juv) Stonechat, Nuthatch heard toward Lelant Old Station. (R Veal)

Hayle, Ryan’s Field: 11 Sandwich Tern, 2 Mediterranean Gull, 2 Whimbrel, 3 Common Sandpiper.  (J St Ledger, R Bowyer)

Kingsmill Lake: 3 Ringed Plover, 5 Dunlin, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Whimbrel, 88 Redshank, 4 Greenshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 3 Common Sandpiper, 47 Curlew, 3 Shelduck & 11 Cormorant. (P Kemp)

Downderry: moving west, 0550-0740, were 322 Gannet, 41 Manx Shearwater, 4 Balearic Shearwater and 6 Mediterranean Gull. Also in the area at least  9 Common Dolphin and a Harbour Porpoise. (A Payne)
