Lethytep: no sightings of the Squacco Heron today (late pm).  The site will not be open to the public tomorrow but this will be reviewed if the bird reappears.

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 1st y m Golden Oriole in pines at back of marsh from 18.54 to 19.20 when it flew off towards Ludgvan. (S Rogers, G Lawlor et al)

Gurnard’s Head: 1 m Montagu’s Harrier over cut fields near the pub.

Helston: 1 prob Montagu’s Harrier flew over Carminowe at 10.41. (RBA)

Lizard, Windmill Farm: 12 Swallow, 1 Merlin flew low past car park, 2 Blackcap, 2 Sedge Warbler singing adjacent to car park, 2 Chiffchaff, 5 Willow Warbler singing, 3 Whitethroat singing, 4 Cuckoo all calling, 7 Skylark singing aloft, 1 Mallard drk at big pond. (J Evans)
