Nanjizal: 1 Scop’s Owl flushed from seaward end of mist net rides this afternoon. keep to public footpaths, there is no public access to ringing area. (K Wilson)

Bude canal: 1 Black-winged Stilt on River Neet at the Strand. (many obs)

Gunwalloe: unconfirmed report of 3 Black-winged Stilts behind Church Cove on flooded land at bottom of Golf Course. (FB)

Holmann’s Moors: 1 Hooded Crow (or hybrid) flew down valley, 2 Willow Warbler, 7 Chiffchaff. (S Rowe)

Metherell: 1 Little Bunting, 1 Reed Bunting still. (B Craven, M Worden)

Carn-les-Boel: fem Woodchat Shrike still at gate West of Faraway this evening. Also ringtail Hen Harrier, m Wheatear, 9 Stonechat, 16 Sand Martin, 2 Swallow, 1 Willow Warbler. (R Veal, D Parker)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 Sedge Warbler singing at East end, 1 Willow Warbler, 2 Swallow, 8 Sand Martin, 2 Snipe, 4 Teal, 1 Kestrel over to SE. Also 3 Sandwich Tern, 2 Mediterranean Gull, c150 Common Gull on Hogus rocks. (R Veal, S Rogers).  Also, Red Kite heading east. (S Cox)

Lanner, Lanmoor: 12 Goldfinch, 1 Blackcap (M), 4 House Sparrows, 1 Bullfinch (M), 3 Blackbirds (2m), 2 Collared Dove. (J Marshall)

Cot valley: Red Kite circling over east end of valley then heading north at 15.40. also, c15 Sand Martins east over valley. (P Clarke)

Lizard, Windmill Farm: 2 Blackcap (m) 1 singing, 2 Willow Warbler singing, 4 Chiffchaff singing,  3 Bullfinch, 1 Large Falcon species with long pointed wings, over south boardwalk calling and flew toward Predannack 08:20am. Call similar to a waterfowl. (J Evans)

Lower Predannack: 10 Skylark singing,, 5 Meadow Pipit, 3 Stonechat, 2 Willow Warbler, Large Falcon species relocated at 08:25am perched on post (formerly for electric fencing) closest to airfield, Observed for 10 minutes at approx 1/4 mile away whilst bird was preening. Pale lightly streaked breast, whitish throat, long primaries to tail, bulky build in breast area, light grey mantle,crown/head markings less defined than Peregrine (Tercel) Bird flew up and attacked 2 Carrion Crows. Flight and flight profile distinctly Hobby like. Diving on crows with wings extended. Long wings with pointed long primaries. Flew toward coast. Species potentially Tundrius. (J Evans)

Drift Reservoir 09.45 – 11.30: 1 Cattle Egret, 2 Little Grebe, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 2m Mallard, 2 Coot, 46 Canada Goose, 2 Long-tailed Tit, 1f Linnet, 2 Wren, 2 Raven, 2 Magpie. (M Webb)

Treveal: 3 Wheatear, 12 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap, 20 Sand Martin, 3 Swallow, 1 House Martin. (S Rowe)

Bodmin Moor; De Lank Waterworks to Garrow Tor: 3 pairs Wheatear (close to previous nesting sites), 9 Buzzard soaring over Garrow Tor, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 2 Siskin, 1 Swallow, 2 Chiffchaff, numbers of Skylark, Meadow Pipit and Stonechat.
