Porth Joke: 1 Booted Warbler in small copse at seaward end of the valley (opposite slate bench which is just past the last gate as you walk down from the main carpark), 1 Wryneck, 1 Dotterel overhead, 1 Firecrest, 1 Curlew, 1 Whinchat. (B Bosisto).  Late afternoon, 1 Ortolan, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 1 Reed Warbler, 2 Whitethroat, 1 Wheatear, 2 Chough but no sign of Booted Warbler. (B & L Bosisto)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1 Kentish Plover showing well at high tide opposite the golf course at Carnsew Pool. (R Veal et al.) Also 1 Osprey over at 10:15, 9 Knot dropped in 11:30, juv Curlew Sandpiper briefly, 1 Ruff over, 8 Greenshank, 16 Common Sandpiper, c40 Teal. (R Veal)
