Porth Reservoir: 1 Great spotted Woodpecker, 1 Firecrest, 2 Jay, 500+ Starling over, 100+ Redwing feeding on hawthorn berries. Note – footpath linking the two bird hides is now clear. (S Grose)

Liskeard, Trevecca, Culverland lane (1400-1550): 22 House Sparrow, 12 Linnet, 3 Goldfinch, 3 Chaffinch, 1 fem Black Redstart (on roof of scruffy electricity depot) with 3 Pied Wagtail, 2 Coal Tit, 7 Long-tailed Tit, 2 Great Tit, 2 Blue Tit, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Green Woodpecker, 5 Blackbird, 2 Robin, 1 Dunnock, 1 Wren, 2 Magpie, 2 Raven over, 20+ Starling, 30+ Herring Gull of differing year groups & several Woodpigeons, Rooks and c.125 Jackdaws over Trevethan Meadows estate.
