Lizard Point (9 :30-13:30): 1 Band-rumped Petrel sp. flew back on itself twice and came through 3 times at 200yds range, 1 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Great Shearwater, 6 Manx Shearwater, 5 Arctic Skua, 1 dark-rumped Leach’s-type Petrel 200 yds out, 2 Great Northern Diver, 1 Grey Phalarope, 2 Common Scoter. Pendeen 0710-1030: 7 Leach’s Petrel, 1 European Storm Petrel, 1 first-winter Little Gull (P Combridge, A Bayly) Also 2 Grey Phalarope reported.

Downderry (8.30-12): 2 Leach’s Petrel (at 9.20 & 9.35), 1 dark phase Arctic Skua, 125 Mediterranean Gulls, 103 Kittiwakes, 47 Gannet, 2 Great Northern Diver, 3 male Common Scoter, 12 auk sp. & 2 juv Peregrines chasing a Guillemot (P Kemp)

Mousehole (1215-1545): 2+ Leach’s Petrel, ad pale Pomarine Skua, 3+ Arctic Skua, 10 Manx Shearwater, prob ad/subad Long-tailed Skua, 1 Grey Phalarope, 1 Little Auk, 2 Common Scoter, c200 Kittiwake, 400+ Auk sp. (mostly Razorbill). (M Elliot)

St Agnes Head (0725-1000): 1 Leach’s Petrel, 2 Great Northern Diver, 1 Black-throated Diver, 1 Grey Phalarope, 2 Common Scoter, 2 Manx Shearwater, 1 Great Skua. (G Lawlor)

Hannafore (10:20 – 15:30): 2 Leach’s Petrel (at 10:25 & 14:30), 2 Pomarine Skua (at 13:25 & 15:02), 2 Great Northern Diver, thousands of Kittiwake, 200 + Gannet, 6 Common Scoter, 8 Mediterranean Gull, 2 Drake Eider, 4 Curlew, 5 Turnstone, 1 Little Egret, 1 Pied Wagtail. (M & R Frost)

Malpas, Truro: 60 Cattle Egrets on foreshore opposite Malpas this morning plus probable further 20 flying upstream towards Truro earlier (A. and R. Hill)

Cremyll: 15 Cattle Egret in fields across road from car park about 1200, 3 Little Egret, 2 Grey Heron. Also 6 prob. Cattle Egret in field at Treninnow Farm. (R Smaldon)
