Late News 19/02 Hayle Estuary RSPB: A colour-ringed Med Gull (green 3VL3) seen here was originally ringed as an adult in Belgium on 19/05/2004. It has spent most of its time since then in the Pas de Calais region of France but also regularly moving into Belgium and Holland. Until now it has spent most winters in Portugal before inexplicably choosing Hayle for its winter break this year. (per D Eva)
