Polgigga area: 1 Dalmatian Pelican again seen flying high and circling. In the evening it was seen in field south of A30 c.1.6km west of Catchall then flew south back towards St. Buryan.

Bartinney Down: 1 Golden Oriole (F/ imm M) but flushed by “brain dead dog walker” and not relocated. also 3 Cuckoo (2M 1F). (P Clarke)

Lands End: 1 imm m Black Redstart, 2 Whitethroat, 1 Chiffchaff, 3 Linnet and 2 Stonechat (m & f, male showed characteristics of the continental race, rubicola), also 2 ad Fox with 3 cubs. (T Mills)

Lizard Point: 4 Turtle Dove.

RSPB Scillonian lll Wildlife Cruise sightings – Penzance to Wolf Rock: 1 Great Northern Diver,14 Gannet,4 Fulmar,4 Manx Shearwater,1 Guillemot and 10 Common Dolphin. Wolf Rock to Penzance: 28 Gannet,19 Manx Shearwater,1 Kittiwake,3 Razorbill,136 Guillemot and 10 Common Dolphin.  (DAConway) Also Wolf Rock to Scilly: 7 Manx Shearwater,4 Gannet,2 Fulmar and 1 pale phase Arctic Skua. Drift Reservoir (members only): 1 Great White Egret again.

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1 Spoonbill, 8 Whimbrel, 3 Curlew, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit and 1 fem Red-breasted Merganser. (DK Parker)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 6 Mute Swan (with 5 cygnet), 5 Canada Geese, 3 Greylag, 8 Mallard (plus 4 duckling), 1 Little Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 14 Grey Heron (with 1+ young in nest), 7 Moorhen, 1 Coot, c10 Swift, c20 House Martin, 2 male Stonechat, 2 Reed Bunting, 5 Cetti’s Warbler, Sedge Warbler and Reed Warbler.
