Porthgwarra: 1 Golden Oriole in Sallows by stonewall pool at 08:30, 1 Marsh Harrier, 16 Wheatear, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 8 Tree Pipit, 3 Willow Warbler and 1 Reed Warbler. (M Wallace). New Polzeath: 1 Wryneck on coast path, plus 140+ Mediterranean Gull with 400 Black-headed Gull on beach. (C Selway)

Hayle Estuary: 2 Spoonbill.

Devoran: 1 Osprey with blue ring on left leg at 06:50, Spoonbill opp Point Quay at 06:45. (R Loader). Osprey later seen fishing successfully at 14:30 (D Eva), also 26 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Dunlin, 15 Oystercatcher, 4 Sandwich Tern. (D Eva)

Rock: 86 Sandwich Tern, 11 Mediterranean Gull, 4 Ringed Plover at Porthilly Point. Many more Terns feeding between Porthilly and Padstow harbour. (S Grose)

Gannel estuary /Crantock beach: 3 Ringed Plover, 13 Little Egret, 2 Common Sandpiper, 6 Bullfinch and 1 Mediterranean Gull. Also 5 Sandwich Tern feeding below the Bowgie Inn. (S Grose)

Hannafore to Portnadler Bay: 1 Cormorant, 3 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Black-headed Gull, 1 Kestrel, 1 Kingfisher (flying over field), 12 Oystercatcher, 2 Mallard, 2 Stonechat, 1 Turnstone, 2 Wheatear (on rocks by edge of sea), Meadow Pipits, numerous Swallows. Butterflies – Meadow Brown, Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell, Small Copper, Clouded Yellow, Holly Blue. (C&J Duffy)

Walmsley Sanctuary, 11:00 – 14:00: c70 Dunlin, c36 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Ruff, 2 Green Sandpiper, 8 Cattle Egret, 2 Little Egret, 2 Glossy Ibis, 2 Swift, 1 Kingfisher, 1 singing Sedge Warbler, 1 Peregrine caused havoc by having two or three goes at the waders! RSPB Scillonian Wildlife Cruise: Penzance to Wolf Rock. 11 Common Scoter, 1 drake Eider, 3 Fulmar, 2 Sooty Shearwater, 320 Manx Shearwater, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 1 Storm Petrel, 100 Gannet, 1 Kittiwake, 3 Great Black-backed Gull and 3 Guillemot. Also 16 Common Dolphin.
