Illogan: Ring-necked Parakeet in cemetery, showing well at 08:30 (J Baker)

Porthilly Beach: 24 Wigeon, 102 Oystercatcher, 1 Curlew, 1 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 1 Common Gull, 1 m Blackcap, 7 Greenfinch. Also 1 Firecrest in a private Garden. (S Grose)

Helston: 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 1 Siberian Chiffchaff, 2 Firecrest at sewage treatment works. 1 escaped Ferruginous Duck on Boating Lake for 562nd day. (I Maclean)

Walmsley Sanctuary (key holders only): Members of Launceston Area Parishes Wildlife Group visited (and kindly donated £40 to CBWPS funds). Highlights were 2 Whooper Swan, female Greater Scaup, 4 Goldeneye, plus Tufted Duck, plenty of Teal, Wigeon, Shelduck, Curlew, Canada Geese, Grey Heron, Little Egret also 2 Stonechat and a Chiffchaff. Camel Trail, Treraven Meadows to Polbrock: 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Kingfisher, 3 Snipe, 16 Curlew, 5 Redshank, 1 Mediterranean Gull, 1 Marsh Tit, 8 Siskin, 5 Song Thrush, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Firecrest, 5 male Bullfinch, 1 Emden Goose associated with Canada Geese has a black plastic ring on right leg.
