Hayle Estuary RSPB, Carnsew Pool: 1 juv Curlew Sandpiper on N side with 60 Dunlin then all flew W at c10:30 am, also 3 Common Sandpiper. Lelant Saltings: 31 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Whimbrel, c40 Teal, 4 Wigeon, 1 Med Gull. (R Veal)

Stithians Reservoir: 5 Wood Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpiper, 1 Ruff, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Greenshank, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Dunlin, 1 Curlew. All viewed from 7.15 to 9am. The Wood Sandpipers had been roosting on the bank opposite the hide but started to disperse after 8am as they began to feed. (J St Ledger)
