Walmsley Sanctuary (members only): 2 Spoonbill (1 adult, 1 first year), 5 Sand Martin, 2 Pintail, 10 Shoveler, 6 Gadwall. (D Eva)
Siblyback Lake: Drake Lesser Scaup, Red-necked Grebe, 40+ Sand Martin, 2 Swallow, 1 House Martin, 20+ Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler, 6 Wheatear (3 m, 3 f inc 1 “Greenland” race male), 3 Crossbill (1 m, 2 f), 11 Lesser Redpoll, 1 Mealy Redpoll (very pale and slightly bigger), 2 Siskin, 1 male Hen Harrier flew over at 12:15, Ring Ouzel (the male from yesterday still in a field adjacent to the dam), 1 White Wagtail, 1 3rd year Yellow-legged Gull, pair Great Crested Grebe, Golden Plover, 18 flew over and Grey Wagtail. Gunwalloe Fishing Cove: 2 Sandwich Terns, 2 Wheatears, Chiffchaffs in rocks at top of beach and also high on cliff. (G Adams)
Gannel Estuary: 1 Little Ringed Plover, 6 Ringed Plover, 5 Redshank, 5 Oystercatcher, 6 Curlew, 2 Wigeon, 24 Black-headed Gull. (S Rowe)
