Late news, 7/1, Walmsley Sanctuary: 37 Teal,1 Green-winged Teal, 44 Wigeon, 25 Mallard,12 Gadwall, 28 Shoveler, 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Pintail (m), 120 Black-tailed Godwit, 58 Lapwing, c100 Dunlin, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 60 Canada Geese, 4 Little Grebe, 1 Coot, 1 Snipe, 1 Water Rail, 15 Redwing and 1 Cormorant. The Lizard: 1 Yellow-browed Warbler (one in the driveway of Tregominion Farm – opp. Cross Common Garden Centre) and 1 Rose-coloured Starling (adult bathing in a large rain pool at ‘Homestead,’ round the corner from the above at Cross Common). (R Butts)
