Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 Little Egret, 4 Grey Heron, 2+ Cormorant, 4 Mute Swan, 23 Teal, 6 Mallard, 14 Moorhen, 2 Little Grebe, 1 Water Rail and 1+ Cetti’s Warbler. 23 Sanderling, 1 Dunlin and 5 Curlew on the beach. College Reservoir: 2 Mute Swan, 220+ Wigeon, 7 Shoveler (4m, 3f), 6 Goldeneye (1ad m), 32+ Tufted Duck, 13 Pochard, 1 m Gadwall, 2 Grey Heron, 4+ Cormorant, 2 Bittern, 10+ Snipe, 4 Little Grebe, 3 Moorhen, 40+ Coot, 30+ Herring Gull, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 2 Great Black-backed Gull, 3 Common Gull, 10+ Black-headed Gull, 2 Chiffchaff (probably abietinus?) and 2 Redwing. Par: Ad drake Ring-necked Duck and the Little Gull were still present at Par beach pool this morning, plus Tufted Duck, 1 Shoveler, 3 Teal, 1 Shelduck, 19 Snipe, Oystercatcher, 1 male Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel and 1 Grey Heron. Stithians Reservoir:1 m and 4 f Reed Bunting under the feeders at the S cut off and 4 Redwing flew past. Gadwall in with Wigeon and approx 170 Lapwing on the main Res and a large flock of Redwing in hedge at the North cut off. (D Jenkins)
