Late News 05/01 Penzance: A pair of Black Redstarts, (one definite male and one definite female), on the rocks immediately alongside the path, just short of the end of Penzance rail station platforms. (J Evans)
Late News 05/01 Wadebridge: A female Gosander was on the river next to Camels pitch in the morning. (P Floyd-Spong)
Marazion Marsh RSPB: 8 Mute Swan (including 4 juv), 13 Mallard, 11 Teal, 2 Little Grebe, 2 Cormorant, 1 Bittern, 1 Grey Heron, 9 Moorhen, 1 Coot, c40 Snipe and 1 Stonechat. (D Parker)
NB. Reed cutting and ongoing reserve management mean that there will be some disturbance throughout the week.
Marazion: 21 Curlew over from Hayle direction to roost on Great Hogus. (D Parker) Also 2 Dark-bellied Brent Geese and 6 Great Northern Divers off Little London. (W Renshaw)

Looe: Near adult Glaucous Gull still, on roof of Fish Market at about 12:00. 3 Slavonian Grebes between Hannafore and Looe Island and 6 Med Gulls (5 ad & 1 2w) on the rocks at Hannafore Point. (R Smaldon & A Davey)
Siblyback Lake: Immature Great Northern Diver. (A Davey) Also fem Ring-necked Duck still.

Kingsmill Lake: 22 Avocet, 30+ Black-tailed Godwits, 8 Greenshank, 20+ Dunlin, 5 Redshank, 40+ Wigeon, 2 Teal, 25 Lapwing, 1 Kingfisher and 1 Goldcrest, plus Mute Swan, Cormorants, Mallards, Black-headed Gulls. Also 1 shrew sp in vegetation opposite the golfing range. (C Ellis)

Lower Tamar Lake: 2 Bullfinch, 50 Canada, 2 Buzzard, 3 Heron, 26 Goosander, 1 Wren, 150 Black-headed gulls, 4 Snipe, 1 Goldeneye, 50 Mallard, 20 Teal, 3 Jay, 4 Coot, 1 Little Grebe and 2 Great Crested Grebe 10:30 – 11:30. (R Mudge)

Woolley Solar Farm Nr Kilkhampton: 1 Barn Owl hunting at 12:30. (R Mudge)
Millbrook Lake: 15 Med Gull, including French ringed green 4V7, 55 Common Gull, 32 Teal, 24 Black-tailed Godwit and 1 Greenshank. (B Taggart)

Penryn River: 1 Whimbrel, 64 Curlew, 3 Greenshank, 38 Redshank, 10 Turnstone, 2 Snipe, 5 Little Egret, 4 Grey Heron, 4 Little Grebe, 37 Teal, 11 Mallard, 3 Oystercatcher, 22 Mute Swan and 2 Buzzard; 1 Green Woodpecker and 100+ Chaffinch in stubble field. Seen at 4.45pm on mid tide. (J St Ledger)

Falmouth: 2 Slavonian Grebe off Gyllyngvase beach in the morning. Black Redstart (1st w m) and Stonechat at Castle Beach, plus Curlew, Little Egret and Med Gull. Also 2+ Great Northern Divers in the Carrick Roads. (D Chaney) 9 Ringed Plover roosting on the Swanpool Point rocks. (J St Ledger)

Gorrangorras: 25+ Teal and 3 Greenshank as high tide approached, plus 4 Little Egret in the pony field. (D Chaney)
Stithians Reservoir: 1w drake Long-tailed Duck and 4 Goldeneye from the causeway plus 2 Siberian Chiffchaff, 2 Marsh Tit, 1 Coal Tit, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 4 Reed Bunting (1 male), 40+ Chaffinch, Goldcrest, pair Gadwall, 3 Wigeon and Grey Heron near the feeding station. (T Mills)
Hayle Estuary RSPB: Slavonian Grebe still in Carnsew Basin and 2 Goosander, 2 Little Egret, 8 Redshank, 25 Lapwing, 1 Curlew and 1 Common Sandpiper on Ryan’s Field. (T Mills & Sennen Cove Birdwatching)
Penzance: 4 Purple Sandpipers adjacent to Jubilee Pool (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)
Clapper Marshes: Siberian Chiffchaff on the island. (D Julian)

Feock: 10 Black-necked grebe, 1 Slavonian Grebe, 2 Common Scoter and 3 Great Northern Diver off Loe Beach. (D Julian)

Carbis Bay: Balearic Shearwater still.
Gannel: 1 Dark-bellied Brent Goose from the car park.
St Just: Subalpine Warbler still in gardens around Princess Street TR19 7JG. Please respect the residents privacy.
Hayle: Firecrest behind Hayle millpond.
Carnon Downs: Firecrest at the sewerage works.
