Late news, 15/5, Stithians Reservoir: Flocks of 7, 1 and 3 Whimbrel passing over, 1 high Red Kite with virtually no tail, flock of about 20 small waders flew through, 3+ Swallow, 1 Grey Heron, 1 flying horse (large balloon drifting over at about 1000ft !). (R Hurrell)

Drift Reservoir (members only): 1 Dalmatian Pelican viewable from the car park from 6am to 8.30am. Also 2 Sand Martin and 1 m Mandarin Duck present. (D Parker, J Hawkey et al) The Pelican then flew off at about 8.30 to the east, but back over Drift at about 11.15 and then was later seen as far west as Polgigga again (P St Pierre) before returning to Drift at 17.00 and back on the reservoir at 18.30.
