On the bird feeders- 2 Great-spotted Woodpecker, 20+ Blue Tit, 2 Coal Tit, 2 Great Tit, 12 Chaffinch and 6 Greenfinch. Seagulls taking Goldfinch: A friend at St Austell witnessed a pair of roof nesting seagulls chasing and catching young goldfinch, he saw one gull twice with a young Goldfinch in its bill. I’ve never seen this behaviour before with passerine, has anyone else witnessed it? (S & D Thomas)
