Newlyn: 2cy Glaucous Gull still in harbour; 10 Sandwich Tern, 30+ Common Scoter, 1 Great Northern Diver. (L Proctor) Also 1 singing Willow Warbler, 2 m Blackcap, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker along Newlyn Coombe above Stable Hobba. (T Mills)

Lamorna: Red Kite east at 4.20pm. Also 2 Great Skua and 3 Wheatear at Car-du. (M McKee)

Sheffield Quarry: 1 Lesser Whitethroat. (M McKee)

Drift: 7 Whimbrel, 1 Kestrel east. (D Flumm)

Penzance, Lidden area: 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 ‘singing’ Nuthatch, 2 (m+f) Greenfinch, 1 singing Blackcap and 21 Rooks nests at top of Alverton Road. (T Mills) Also 1 Kestrel over Heamoor going east. (P St Pierre)

St Ives Island: 7 Purple Sandpiper, 12 Turnstone (G Jones)

Chapel Amble: 3 Little Ringed Plovers, 3 Yellowhammers (A Taylor)

Whipsiderry: 2 Corn Bunting, 1 Yellowhammer, 6 Skylark, 16 Meadow Pipit, 11 Linnet 2 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel this eve. (S Grose)

Newquay: 1 Coal Tit, 3 Chaffinch, 2 Blackcap, 5 Blackbird, 2 Pigeon in Tretheras/Bedowan Meadows area. (E Henderson)

Downderry: early this morning 6 Shelduck, 3 Whimbrel, 3 Great Northern Diver, 2 Kittiwake, 2 Sandwich Tern and a Swallow. Later a singing Whitethroat at edge of the village. (A Payne)
