Porthgwarra: 1 Red-eyed Vireo in willows by carpark until about 9.30 this morning, also 1 Spotted Flycatcher in Dr’s garden. (T Mills, P Roseveare, M Pass et al)

Sennen: 1 Buff-breasted Sandpiper still in ploughed field SE of Escalls Chapel at 11:55.

Botallack: 1 Wryneck in gorse by coast path c.100m north of Roscommon House.

Ruan Lanihorne: 1 Purple Heron showing in long grasses and reeds just above Sett Bridge and predating on Newts.  Hundreds of Canada Geese over including 1 all white individual that was very noisy, 1 Kingfisher on post for a short while and 1 Fallow Deer browsing along the river. (A James)

Hayle Estuary:  3 Great Egret, 1 Cattle Egret,  2 Spoonbill at 16:30, earlier 3 Ruff and various Bar & Black-tailed Godwits. (M Lammas & T Pope) 1 Kingfisher flew over viaduct (nr Asda) toward clock tower at 19:20. (J Evans)

Truro: 2 Cattle Egret still at Menadews Farm.

Crowdy Reservoir: 1 moulting adult Black Tern this afternoon hawking insects. (C Buckland, M Beer, M Ahmad) 1 Snow Bunting. (M Pass) Also 1 Spotted Sandpiper and 1 Dotterel.

Tregonetha Downs: 16 Snipe, 1 Tawny Owl, 1 Barn Owl. (S Grose)

Rock Porthilly Point: 2 pale-bellied Brent Geese, 1 Common Sandpiper, 65 Mediterranean Gull, 21 Sandwich Tern, 3 Common Gull, 3 Curlew, 156 Oystercatcher. (S Grose)

Camel Estuary: 7 Ruff this evening. (B Bosisto)

Penzance:  Pod of 30+ Common Dolphin at 07:40. (J Evans)
