Late news, 28/1, Penzance: Ringing details back on this bird which I photographed at Jubilee Pool on 8th Dec. It was originally ringed on Nidingen in Sweden on 22-08-10 as a 1st year bird and was also seen in Penzance on 08-09-14. (A distance of 1392km). It was still with the roosting Turnstone flock in Penzance harbour this weekend. (M McKee)

Cape Cornwall: 1 Glaucous Gull at Porth Ledden. (N Wheatley)

Towan Head:  3 Common Scoter and 2 Red-throated Diver still, lots of Auks feeding off point. (M Lammas)

Gannel Estuary: summer plumage Med Gull, No sign of Ring-billed Gull this morning on the boating lake. (M Lammas)

Truro: Tufted Duck Malpas Road opposite sunny corner. (M Costa)

St Enodoc Golf Course: 2 singing Yellowhammer. (S Grose)

Quintrell Downs: A male Blackcap visits daily at the moment. Mainly eating seeds maybe sunflower, but also eating pollen from a camellia. Not ringed. (M Lovejoy)

Kingsmill Lake: 4 Barnacle Goose, 95 Avocet, 8 Snipe. (M Beer)

Wilcove: 1m Green-winged Teal, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Whimbrel. (C Ellis)
