Late News, Botallack, 29/04: 28 Wheatear in fields south of Botallack Head, 15 Whimbrel flew inland. (J Waldon)

Davidstow Airfield: 2 Dunlin, 7 Wheatear, c.10 Pied Wagtail with 1 White Wagtail, several Linnets. (H Kendall, B Bryne) Also 1 Grey Plover on the airfield this morning also with 2 Dunlin. (B Field, B Craven) Plus pair of Garganey on first pool  on the left hand side of runway, plus c15 Wheatear probably of the Greenland race. (A Bond)

Chapel Porth: Iberian Chiffchaff still 400m beyond NT car park. (B Bosisto et al.) Although singing most of the time like a classic Iberian Chiffchaff, it did sometimes switch to a more standard Chiffchaff song. (This apparently may not be a problem, see here on page 5.) Also 8 Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler, 3 Blackcap, 1 Siskin. (B Bosisto) Iberian Chiffchaff still present this evening. (J Ryan)
