Saltash: 10 Avocet, 37 Black-tailed Godwit, 5 Dunlin, 11 Curlew, 4 Oystercatcher, 31+ Redshank, 3 Greenshank, 2 Red-breasted Merganser, 30+ Teal, 62 Wigeon, 23 Shelduck & 3 Grey Heron on the ebbing tide at 10.30am, at Kingsmill Lake. (P Kemp)

Penrose Estate: Short walk from boating lake along path: 3 Firecrest, 1 Cetti’s Warbler singing from holly in wooded area opposite wetland, 1 medium-large sized Heron species, possible Purple Heron seen flying low and South along wooded tree-line.
