Late News, 4/12, Camel Estuary: 1 Ringed Plover, ringed as a chick at Beltringharder Koog, Germany on 11th June 2016, previously observed at Frampton Marsh, Lincs on 25th July. Only the second known German-bred Ringed Plover to be seen in Cornwall. (D Julian)

Bude Breakwater and Estuary: 4 Purple Sandpiper on Bude Breakwater and 5 Mute Swan (3 juv) on the Estuary this morning. (H Kendall)
Hayle: 13 Mediterranean Gull (3 ringed), 5 Common Gull, 2 Grey Plover, 2 Goosander & 1 Kingfisher on main estuary (S Grose), also imm Spoonbill still. 1 subadult (3w) Caspian Gull on estuary in afternoon (B Dallas, M Halliday). 6 Blackcap & 3 Mediterranean Gull from George V Memorial Walk.
