Late news, 6/10, Colliford Reservoir: 2 Yellow-legged Gull (1 ad, 1 2nd winter), 1 Common Gull. (B Bosistow)

Penzance: Juvenile Grey Heron (originally thought to be Purple Heron),landed in tree above Britons Hill to escape mobbing gulls. Seen three times in the last week but fleetingly. (M Hallam)

Marazion Marsh: 1 Bittern. (A James) 1 Woodcock at Plain an Gwarry. 1 Curlew Sandpiper, 3 Knot, 3 Sanderling, 1 Dunlin, 18 Redshank, 50 Turnstone and 1 Little Egret on Gwelva Beach.

Lower Tamar Lake: 7 Goosander (3m 4f), 7 Tufted Duck, 1 Water Rail, 2f Wigeon, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Mute Swan, 1 Reed Bunting, 1 Willow Tit, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Nuthatch. (R Mudge)

Sennen: 1 Yellow-browed Warbler and 200+ Skylark at Trevilley. (C&C Moore) Also 1 Richard’s Pipit south of the school still.

Kingsmill Lake: 180 Dunlin, 52 Avocet, 78 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Knot, 2 Spotted Redshank and 5 Greenshank. (M Beer)

Bude: 1 Kingfisher, 2 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Buzzard, 1 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 6 Canada Goose, 5 Mute Swan, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 Wheatear and 7+ Rock Pipit. (H Wilkins)

Nanjizal: 1 ‘blythi’ Lesser Whitethroat trapped. (1 Yellow-browed Warbler trapped on 31st Oct was ringed at St Abbs on 9th Oct). (K Wilson)

Land’s End: 1 Dusky Warbler, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 1 Siberian Chiffchaff, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, Dartford Warbler, Firecrest and 1 Bearded Tit briefly. (P St Pierre)

Cape Cornwall: 1 Black Redstart.

Cot Valley: 1 Black Redstart.

Marazion: 1 Curlew Sandpiper.

Hayle Estuary RSPB, Ryan’s Field: 2 Spoonbill, 1 American Golden Plover again and 1 ad Yellow-legged Gull.

Perranuthnoe: 1 Hudsonian Whimbrel on rocky point west of Trenow Cove.

Millook (nr Bude):  4f Common Scoter flying west. ( B Craven)

Maer Lake: 1 Curlew Sandpiper and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. ( B Craven)
