Penzance: Juvenile Grey Heron (originally thought to be Purple Heron),landed in tree above Britons Hill to escape mobbing gulls. Seen three times in the last week but fleetingly. (M Hallam)

Perranuthnoe: 1 Hudsonian Whimbrel on rocky point west of Trenow Cove.
