Marazion: Pair of Tawny Owls calling in the early hours, 3 Oystercatcher on the beach and 12 common Scoter (1 ad drake) offshore. (D Parker)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 2 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 4 Mute Swan plus 4 cygnets, 27 Mallard, 18 Teal, 4 Little Grebe, 1 Coot, 12 Moorhen, 1 Water Rail, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Sparrowhawk and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. (D Parker)

Mylor Churchtown: 2 Waxwings still in Mylor Churchyard this morning feeding on yew berries also 1 Firecrest, good numbers of Redwing roosting, Song Thrush and Mistle Thrush. Waxwing still present 15:00. Possible Yellow-browed Warbler.. (D Eva, J St Ledger, J Chapple & B Mellow)

Chapel Carn Brea: 3 Whooper Swans in stubble field north of the Friends Burial Ground at the junction of the B3306 with the A30.
Cot Valley: 2 Firecrest at 08:30, 1 at Rosewell and 1 in elms at the seaward end.
