Hayle Estuary RSPB, Carnsew Pool: 1s Spoonbill, 2 Whimbrel and 2 (ad+imm) Mediterranean Gull. Ryan’s Field: 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Kingfisher, 7 juv Black-headed Gull and 2 Swallow collecting mud for a new nest with 4 fledglings present. Also several active Swift and House Martin nests In Hayle near the viaduct. (R Veal)

Kenneggy and Bessy’s Cove:  1 imm Willow Warbler, 1 Green Woodpecker, 2 Kestrel (1 imm Male), 6 Cormorant, 4 Fulmar (1 imm flapping constantly instead of gliding), Several House Martin,Swift and Swallow, 10 Stonechat, 1 Raven, 1 Chiffchaff, 10+ Linnet, 2 Grey Seal – adult Females, 1 Stoat – caching young rabbit.
