Late News 25/01 Perranwell: Bittern flew over the road between Perranwell Station and the Bissoe valley.

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 8 Mute Swan (including 4 juv), 5 Grelag, 2 hybrid geese, 15 Mallard, 32 Teal, 7 Little Grebe, 3 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 1+ Bittern, 3 Grey Heron, 4+ Water Rail, 18 Moorhen, 1 Coot, c20 Snipe, 17 Curlew over and 2 Chiffchaff. (D Parker, S Maycock & W Renshaw)

Siblyback Lake: Female Ring-necked Duck again. (LGR Evans)
Newlyn: Marsh Harrier from Sandy Cove from 10:15 – 10:50 when it flew north. (J Chapple) Drake Scaup and 10 Common Scoter offshore. (L Proctor) Black-necked Grebe still in the harbour.
Bude Marshes: Drake Green-winged Teal with 9 Teal in a pool SW of Rodd’s Bridge (cSS212048) and 1 1w Greenland White-fronted Goose and 4 Pink-footed Geese with c250 Canada Geese NE of the bridge. (LGR Evans & R Mudge) Water Pipit also reported.
Bude: 1w Glaucous Gull at Crooklets Beach until 08:30 and a Great Skua offshore. (per LGR Evans)
Maer Lake: 1w Glaucous Gull, adult Yellow-legged Gull and ad Med Gull. (C Selway)

Helston: 1 Bittern just north of the hide, 2 Wigeon, 4 Goosander, 9 Common Gull and 2 Firecrest at Loe Pool in the morning. (J Foster)
Stithians Reservoir: 1 Long-tailed Duck, 6 Goldeneye, 22 Tufted Duck, 5 Shoveler, 2 Gadwall, 2 Pochard and 1 Woodcock. (D Eva)

Crowdy Reservoir: Adult Iceland Gull on reservoir at 15:30. Flushed after 10 mins by dogs and flew towards distant field of gulls to the north also 1 Merlin present. (B Craven)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1w Iceland Gull again from the B3301 causeway, plus 1+ Goosander. (F Rice) Ad Common Tern still at 15:15 off North Quay viewable from the PWC training building. Common Tern, 25 Grey Plover, 8 Bar-tailed Godwit, 180+ Dunlin, 5 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 4 Curlew, 8 Turnstone and 21 Ringed Plover in Carnsew Basin and 3 Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Knot and 1 Grey Plover in Copperhouse Creek. Walmsley Sanctuary (members only): 2 pairs of Mute Swan, 250+ Canada Goose, 60+ Teal,  25+ Mallard, 6 Pintail (4m 2f), 14 Shoveler, 2 Pochard, 8 Tufted Duck, 10 Coot, 200+ Golden Plover, 300+ Lapwing, 80+ Snipe, 120+ Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 400+ Curlew, 2 Magpie, 2 Raven, 500+ Starling, 1 Robin, 1 pair Stonechat, 2 Greylag Geese, 2 Grey Heron, 2 Little Grebe, 2 Water Rail, 2 Buzzard, 6 Moorhen, 12 Shelduck, 40+ Wigeon and 6 Gadwall from 10:00-13:00.
