It is with great sadness that we report the sudden loss of one of our long-standing members and contributors, Brian Field. Apart from his excellent birding skills he was a superb photographer and a “thoroughly nice bloke”. We shall all miss him greatly and our sincere condolences go to his wife and family.
Scillonian III Crossing: 1 Wilson’s Petrel reported “in Cornish waters” this evening.
Drift Reservoir (members only): 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, 1 Wood Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpipers. Also one pair Great Crested Grebes and a single adult with a well-grown immature, 2 Grey Wagtail a dozen Swifts plus Swallows and House Martins.
