Military Road: 1 Wheatear, 1 Whinchat and 1 Hobby hunting hirundines which were estimated at about 5000 birds an hour were moving east along the coast with about 95% Swallow, 4% House Martin and 1% Sand Martin. (G Lewis)

Freathy, nr Torpoint: Hirundine passage east today at a rate of c 50 per minute, including groups of 50-100 . From dawn until 10:00 upwards of 7000 all passed east , then numbers dropped to a few when rain became heavier, tailing off to nothing by 16:00. (M Jordan)
