(R Veal) Shoreline near Birdies Cafe: 1 Spoonbill,1 pale-bellied Brent Goose, 20+ Bar-tailed Godwit, 50+ Curlew, 300+ Wigeon, 200+ Teal, 150+ Lapwing, 16 Grey Plover, 80+ Dunlin, 1 Mediterranean Gull (adult winter) and 1 Black Swan. St John’s Lake: 2 Black-necked Grebe from Marine Drive near the jetty.

Porthpean: 2 Surf Scoter (ad female and juvenile) still off Lower Porthpean, drake Long-tailed Duck still, Velvet Scoter and 4 Great Northern Diver.

St Levan Church/Porthchapel Beach: 1 Firecrest, 10 Siskin, 9 Greenfinch, 1 Chiffchaff, 5 Blackcap, 7 Mistle Thrush, 1 Water Rail, 2 Chough. Minack Theatre: 1 Black Redstart, male on cliffs below complex. (S Grose)

Penzance, Jubilee Pool: 1 Pomarine Skua, 2 Great Skua, 1 Manx Shearwater, 7 Purple Sandpiper, 8+ Great Northern Diver, 30+ Shag, 40+ Kittiwake, 50+ Common Scoter, 2 m Eider, 60+ Guillemot, 4 Razorbill, 50+ Gannet, 3 Rock Pipit, 60+ Sanderling, 17 Turnstone, 18 Dunlin, 40+ Ringed Plover. (S Petrek)

Stithians Reservoir, southern cut-off: 1 male Bullfinch, 1 Kingfisher, 10 Long-tailed Tit, 5 Coal Tit, 4 Reed Bunting, 4 Greenfinch, 4 Goldfinch, several Snipe, a few Teal and Mallard and usual Blue Tits, Great Tits, Dunnocks etc. (S Williams)
