Late news, 2/8, Hayle Estuary RSPB, Ryan’s Field: 90-100 Canada Geese, a flock of 100-150 Curlew and Bar-tailed Godwit, 10+ Redshank, 2 Little Egret, 10-15 Oystercatcher and 1 Grey Heron. (K Money)

Porthgwarra: 2 Balearic Shearwater, 6 Common Scoter, 2+ Great Skua and 3 Dunlin past by 08:30. Also Melodious Warbler seen twice briefly, but very well, just west of Coastguard Cottage gardens before appearing to fly further down the  valley. It wasn’t relocated in the next 40 minutes. 2 Wood Sandpiper flew over while looking although neither bird called, Wheatear and 2 Willow Warbler also present. (I Prentice)

Kingfisher by dam, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Goldfinch, Wren, Goldcrest, Blackcap, Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker.
