Now that the breeding season is drawing to a close we are now publicising most records of Kingfisher, Crossbill, Curlew, Whinchat, Wood Warbler, Cattle Egret,Grey Partridge and Common Snipe. However nesting records of Nightjar and Firecrest have occured over the last two days, so some records are still saved seperately to the website. We really apreciate you sending them in as they are invaluable to us. So we hope you understand when they dont always appear online. Many thanks; CBWPS Sightings Team.

Par: We have had success again this year with Swifts breeding in our nest boxes.  Of the four boxes on the house, three have been occupied by Swifts and one by Sparrows.  I took the attached photo on the 1st August.  After taking it, I discovered there were two babies in this box and I think that originally there were three because one was looking out some days ago and would have fledged before its siblings, I think.  There were young in the other boxes, too, but they and their parents left a good fortnight ago.
