Saturday 9th November 2024

Stithians Lake; We have been advised that the public highway between Penmarth and Carnkie will now remain closed until 18th Nov 2024. The Stuart Hutchings Hide and the Feeder Hide remain open and anyone wishing to drive to these hides may wish to consider accessing these hides from the Carnkie end of this road as the roadworks have now progressed to Penmarth. Accessing the hides by road from Carnkie will necessitate driving past the road closure barrier and members must satisfy themselves that this is a safe procedure as such action can obviously not be endorsed by the Society.
