Late News 2/11 Mylor Churchtown, churchyard: 2 Waxwing, first picked up by call, found eating Yew berries, but spent some time perched at top of nearby trees, still present when I left at approx 14:50, Firecrest heard only 14:10. (S Foster)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 2 Grey Heron, 1 Cormorant, 4 Mute Swan plus 2 cygnets, 19 Mallard, 14 Teal, 1 m Gadwall, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Coot, 11 Moorhen, 1 Water Rail, c5000 Starling and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. (D Parker)

Mylor Churchtown:  2 Waxwing, 1 Brambling, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Bullfinch, lots Redwings, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Goldfinches, Greenfinch, Blue Tit and Chaffinch in the churchyard 09:00-11:00. Hayle Estuary RSPB: 3 adult Med Gulls and 8 Dark-bellied Brent Geese still. (D Eva) Also Spoonbill and 2 Whooper Swans. (J Thomas & M Curtis)

Wherrytown, Penzance: c4 Grey Wagtails, spread along length of Bay and 20+ Turnstones, including 2 colour-ringed birds. (T Mills)

Sancreed: Hawfinch east 09:55, 47 Lapwing, 40 Skylark and 40 Redwing in fields and westerly passage of 400 Chaffinch, 30 Greenfinch and 11 Linnet. (D Flumm)

Pendennis, Falmouth: 50+ Gannet, 100+ Kittiwake, 20+ auk sp all west in an hour or so 9 -10am, with 2 Ring Ouzel west across Falmouth Bay. Sandwich Tern in the Carrick Roads, 15+ Cormorant too. 2 Meadow Pipit on the point, with several flocks over, 8+ Skylark over and various flocks of unidentified small and medium sized passerines, some across Falmouth Bay. 5 Siskin over the castle. Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth: 5 Turnstone plus 2 Stonechat still at the start of the footpath to Start point near the ‘Indeba’ restaurant, 20 Meadow Pipit, Kestrel and Raven nearby. (D Chaney)
Trescobeas Park, Falmouth: 6 Meadow Pipit in field N of the park also c30 Linnet and a Mistle Thrush. (D Chaney)
Gorrangoras, Penryn River: c40 Redshank, 2 Greenshank, 62+ Curlew, 5 Oystercatcher, 14 Turnstone, 4 Little Egret, 1 Moorhen, 1 Little Grebe and c40 Mallard at 4pm on a rising tide. (D Chaney)
Stithians Reservoir: 26 Tufted Duck, 1 Snipe, 4 Long-tailed Tit, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 30 Herring Gull, 3 Cormorant, 4 Great Tit, 4 Blue Tit, 9 Goldfinch, 11 Coot, 5 Mallard, 13 Teal, 2 Canada Goose, 1 Robin, 15 Chaffinch, 5 House Sparrow, 1 Magpie, 2 Water Rail, 1 Dunncok, 1 Grey Heron, 3 Moorhen, 3 Buzzard, 5 Greenfinch and 1 Coal Tit. Cot Valley: 1 Firecrest still.
Saltash: Waxwing in fruit trees by Sandacre Bay at Churchtown Farm CNR at 15:30, SX418575.
Drift Reservoir (Members only): Possible Tundra Peregrine over fields on east side 13:45-13:55.
