Late News 18/11/2011 Hayle Estuary RSPB: The colour ringed Black-headed Gull seen at Lelant water on 18/11/11 was first ringed as a nestling at Cotswold Water Park, Gloucestershire on 01/06/2006. It has previously been seen at Hayle on 12/8/08, 10/8/09, 19/9/09 and 30/9/10 and in Wiltshire on 5/4/10. (J Wells per D Parker)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 6 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, 6 Mute Swan, 15 Teal, 12 Mallard, 1 Wigeon, 1 Coot, 14 Moorhen, 1 Water Rail, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Snipe, 1 Kestrel and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. Also 3 Shelduck offshore. (D Parker)
Penzance, Jubilee Pool: 1W Surf Scoter again and Common Crane flew over at 12:20 heading towards Marazion and later seen at Hayle (see below). (B Mellow & R Wilkins)
Hayle Estuary RSPB: Common Crane flew over Lelant Water & Carnsew Pool at 12:50 continuing NE up the coast before turning back south and heading off in Helston direction ten minutes later when lost in fog. Also 9 Little Grebe, 12 Cormorant, 1 Shag, 2 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 9 Grey Plover, 5 Bar-tailed Godwit, 250 Dunlin, 1 Greenshank, ad Med Gull on Carnsew Pool. (D Flumm)
Par Beach Pool: Drake Ringed Necked Duck was still present at Par Beach Lake at 15:45. (W Holmes)

Helston boating lake: Little Gull late afternoon. (S Bury)
Loe Pool, Helston: Female type Bufflehead still. Also Bittern at the northern end and 6+ Firecrest.
Torpoint: Drake Green-winged Teal on far bank from Chapeldown Road at 10:00.
Penzance, Chyandour: Long-tailed Duck again.
Carbis Bay: Ad and 2W Iceland Gulls still, plus 1 Black-throated Diver.
Marazion: Juv Iceland Gull and Water Pipit still on the beach.
St Ives: 2W Iceland Gull at Porthgwidden beach flew east. 4 Balearic Shearwaters past Harbour beach. 3 Purple Sandpipers on the Island.
Hannafore Point: Black Redstart, 5 Slavonian Grebes and 5 Great Northern Divers.
